But the unprofessional treatment and constant stress we experienced with the staff made it hard to enjoy what should have been a special time especially considering how much we paid. Even with a coordinator, we had to stay on top of everything ourselves, and several things were still missed on the actual wedding day. The one person who truly cared and made us feel supported was Amanda; she genuinely wanted our day to be special. Overall, there was a clear lack of communication, initiative, and professionalism from the staff. For the amount we spent, we expected a far better experience and much better treatment. If you’re paying for a coordinator, you expect someone who will handle the details not push everything back onto you. I highly recommend finding a venue that actually cares about your day and is committed to supporting you. Here are the things we experienced: We booked Los Willows in early 2025 and tasted with RedTail, only to find out months later from RedTail, not the venue, that they were no longer partnered. Los Willows never told us. It took three months to get a tasting with their new caterer, whose food was undercooked, low‑quality, and nothing like what we originally paid for. We wanted Mexican and American dishes to honor our cultures, but neither was done well. When we voiced concerns, Lisa Moore blamed us, and when we finally reached an agreement, she said RedTail could cater for us. She then went back on her word, refusing to let us use RedTail without extra fees and even pushing for them to charge more so we couldn’t hire them. She also called Mexican food “ethnic food” and sent AI‑generated emails with unfinished placeholders. All of this was happening months before our wedding. The whole experience showed us they cared more about money than our wedding. We had to do another group tasting. Lisa told us they changed the tasting format because of our feedback. Pamela told us guests with dietary needs would get plated meals. On the wedding day, our guests with celiac disease were told to use the buffet while vegetarians got special meals. Another instance of lack of communication. We were worried about cross contamination the entire night. The DJ did an okay job, but the experience wasn’t what we expected. We had no idea we’d be responsible for building his playlist, so when he asked for 4–6 hours of music for the one hour he’d be playing, we had to spend hours putting it together ourselves. Several announcements were missed, and a lot of what should have been his responsibility ended up falling back on us. Our coordinator missed our 360 photobooth that was in the contract. When asked about it, again it was it was put back on us not telling her. We had talked about it before with our planner, it was in the layouts, in the contract, in the notes, and we discussed it in our meeting. Very frustrating that everything was put back on us. Our coordinator set up our desserts and our gluten free desserts were mixed in with our regular desserts and cross contaminated. We were asked to complete a layout for the ceremony of the two first rows and who we wanted to sit there. The reserved seats did not have reserved signs or names; therefore, everyone sat wherever they wanted. Another oversight of the staff. We do not recommend the venue and advise you to find a different place that will give you a better experience.Posted on Google Sandy TwinamJune 16, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place for eventsPosted on Google Meg Le VuJune 6, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've been here a couple of times now, and the Fallbrook area for new wedding venues is really starting to pop off on our radar. It's a large green lawns and garden vibe are great for larger wedding parties. The sun can come through the trees strong so planning the timeline for photos is a good heads up. It's an outdoors, green, brown venue with water to balance everything out. At night you can still go all out for the party and your music.Posted on Google Terry WindustMay 19, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It's really a 10 star venue we were all very, very impressed with it. Management and and our wedding coordinator Meghan were top notch and gave us full support for our time there. You went above and beyond. My whole experience was great but wedding day was absolutely perfect. Lisa M - Thanks for immediately shutting my mom down when she tried to take over planning before we even booked. I was sold when you did that before even touring the venue. Amanda - You’re a friend for life. Thank you for holding my hand during this journey! Jennifer - I’d be lost without you. I may have picked out every detail, but you helped bring my vision to life! Mona, Alex & Brayden - I didn’t know I needed you until I did. Grateful for you guys keeping me calm.Posted on Google Alexis DurdenFebruary 10, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Meghan really took the time to understand our needs to make it a perfect day everyone can’t stop talking about. The scenery is absolutely phenomenal. From the twinkle lights to the lake it’s definitely romantic and whimsical. Exactly the vibe we were going for. The food was absolutely incredible. We had mahi-mahi and medallions and let me tell you I could cut through those medallions with a butter knife. They were so good. There was a little bit of a rough communication in the beginning, but the owner had offered to help us out which we are so grateful. She truly takes care of these grounds and you can tell she adds so much love. It is a little pricey, however it is a beautiful place to start off a lifetime. Our DJ was George Washington and he was off the hook! He made sure our party was always moving and grooving, which is exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Los Willows for making our day such a beautiful moment! 💕💒💍🌸Posted on Google Sebastian RossiJanuary 16, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nice venue however it sits at the bottom of a canyon and there is no cell service. Be prepared to cut off communication. It’s nice to do that but not ideal when coordinating an event and need to reach outsiders. EDIT: I didn’t use the WiFi while I was there. If I had, my signal issue would have been moot. Changing to 5-star because it is nice to retreat back and unplug for an event.Posted on Google Adrianna GonzalezDecember 18, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We love shooting weddings at Los Willows. The scenery is breathtaking and always photographs beautifully, and the venue team is fantastic — kind, attentive, and very professional. As Salt & Sol Studios, our couples are always thrilled with their photos and films from this venue. We can’t recommend Los Willows enough!
