Elisa and Omar’s Unforgettable Celebration at Los Willows

As a wedding venue located north of San Diego, we are always honored to have a military bride or groom. And Elisa and Omar’s wedding at Los Willows was an unforgettable celebration, from the time-honored Saber Arch to the glow sticks pulsing on the packed dance floor.

Elisa and Omar’s October ceremony was held under a canopy of blue sky and dappled shade in the Oak Meadow. Shepherd’s hooks with white florals, along with white candles in cylinders lined the paved aisle.  White florals and candles were a theme throughout the wedding. And the groom arrived in our vintage red roadster. After saying “I Do,” the couple made their processional through a Marine Corps tradition — the Saber Arch.

The room, in refined white and gold, was set with a mix of rectangular and round tables with Chiavari chairs and chargers. A sage green napkin in a cummerbund fold completed the look. In addition to the stunning cake, the couple also offered scrumptious desserts. Omar even cut the cake with a saber. And throughout the evening the dance floor was the place to be — from the money dances to the glow sticks.
